A message from Interim Associate Dean Eileen Danaher HackerDear 2021 Graduates,
As a graduate of the IU School of Nursing's traditional BSN program, you have just earned your bachelor's in one of the most difficult and demanding degree programs that IU offers!
I also applaud the graduates of our RN to BSN Online Degree Completion Option upon earning your BSN. You, too, are to be commended for earning your degree from an equally demanding program, while balancing work, family, and financial commitments.
Congratulations to you all!
As you know, we are following the university's guidance that, this year, we do not hold an in-person graduation ceremony due to COVID-19. However, we still want to recognize your many accomplishments. In celebrating all that you've achieved, we have produced a Graduation Video that is part graduation ceremony/part yearbook.
The video, produced by our Strategic Marketing & Communications Manager John Simmons and Special Projects Coordinator Delanie Marks, can be viewed below. The video celebrates the journey you've just completed, the many friendships you've made, and the many ways in which you've grown.
You are entering the healthcare profession at a time when people really need you. The whole world is waiting for you, and you are going to have a tremendous impact on the lives and well being of countless families across Indiana and the nation.
Thank you for choosing the IU School of Nursing. On behalf of our faculty and staff, thank you for your hard work & dedication, your boundless optimism, and for many happy memories. You take with you our sincere best wishes for your continued success!
