The traditional track of the Indiana University School of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program is a prelicensure track for those who don’t have a bachelor’s degree in any field or any prior nursing education. It requires four years of full-time study.
Eligibility to apply
To be eligible to apply to the BSN program’s traditional track, you must be admitted to IU as a degree-seeking student and complete between 29 and 31 credits of prenursing coursework, including all courses required for admission to the School of Nursing. The first time you can apply to the BSN program is during the spring semester of your freshman year or first year at IU Bloomington.
There is no direct admission to the School of Nursing for high school students or transfer students.
