Biography

Sonita Ball’s clinical experience is in the areas of neonatal and wound care nursing. She is a certified wound care nurse (CWCN) and has training in hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Her areas of teaching include community health, maternal-child health, physical assessment, and pediatrics. Her graduate study was in community health nursing with a focus on pandemic influenza and emergency preparedness. Emergency preparedness is the focus of her doctoral study.
