Tuition and fees

  • In-state:  $578 per credit hour/ approximately $24,276 for the 42 credit hour program
  • Out-of-state:  $1,553 per credit hour/ approximately $65,226 for the 42 credit hour program
  • University and course-related fees:  Approximately $3,300 total for the 42 credit hour program

Financial aid and scholarships

  • Over $700,000 in nursing scholarships are awarded annually to undergraduate and graduate nursing students at IU School of Nursing. Nursing students submit a single application once a year to be considered for all applicable scholarships. 
  • Students may be eligible for federal financial aid or loans. Please contact the Office of Financial Assistance at Student Central (812-855-6500) to discuss your personal financial plan for the MSN program. 
  • If you work in a hospital as a nurse, you may find that they offer tuition reimbursement. Contact your Human Resources department to ask about this benefit.
