Biography

Abby Berg is a clinical assistant professor at the IU School of Nursing Bloomington. Dr. Berg received her DNP from Purdue University and MSN from Indiana University. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with clinical experiences in pediatric oncology and pediatric primary care. 

Dr. Berg enters IU with teaching experience in pediatrics, physical assessment, and nursing fundamentals across didactic, clinical, and simulation settings. She strives to provide students with a safe and welcoming environment that is student-centered. Dr. Berg engages students with evidence-based teaching strategies, enthusiasm, and a passion for the profession. Her scholarship is focused on teaching and learning in both the academic and clinical settings to promote optimal outcomes for students and patients.
